Is Prison Empire: World In Motion Good?
A tycoon-based survival game where you escape from the penal system? That sounds like a great premise, and one that I can relate to, so I thought I’d play Prison Empire Tycoon. I’ve played several prison management games, including a very addictive game called Manhunt: War Zone. While it had similar elements, Prison Empire Tycoon is much different.
The story is about an escaped convict who must find his way back into the penal system and try to start a new life. He’s joined a group of others including former prisoners who want to escape as well and escape their past. It seems that they’re up against some really hard odds though. They’re separated into two groups which consist of a man called Tommy, a prison guard called Harry, and a few other individuals.
Tommy and Harry are the leaders of the group. They’ll have to find out information about the state of the jail, escape the jail and find their way back to freedom. It’s a bit hard given the fact that all escape attempts fail and end up in another prison. They are assigned a special task to achieve this. To get the job done, they need to find and destroy all the guards, prisoners, and any other entities known to be in the jail. You also need to provide the right resources to do it in-game.
You can purchase weapons, clothing, and food from the prison shop. These are generally earned through doing jobs or fighting with other players. There are five jobs in each level and you can only do three at a time. However, this is just a small part of the game as there are many other challenges as well. You’ll be fighting the guards as well as other inmates and tycoons.
One thing I noticed early on was that the music was not that great. It didn’t fit the tone of the game. Also, some of it was inappropriate. Some of the sounds just wouldn’t sound right. This bothered me as it shouldn’t matter so much. Just turn off the background music or get someone else to do it for you.
Another issue I had while playing Prison Island was that I couldn’t see outside of the prison walls. The view was very small and I couldn’t see far. That is a problem since you have to bring help every few levels. Someone else should be able to spot you and bring help. Otherwise, you will have to rely on your own wits and luck to get through the levels.
Another issue I had is that I could only see white items around me. I couldn’t see the items that were behind the walls. Some of them were missing too. Some of them were just sitting there in plain sight. It would have been nice to be able to see exactly what was in front of me.
Overall, Prison Island is a fun time. The graphics are nice and the game has nice physics. But, none of these things make up for the amount of time you spend in prison. I spent well over twenty hours in there. If you enjoy prison games but have not played Prison Empire: World Within, you should really give it a try.
The one thing that made Prison Empire: World In Motion different from other similar games is that you actually have to move around prison while making money. In other games, you have to jump from building to building. In other games, you just have to find a job and hope you can make enough money to keep it going. However, Prison Island requires you to do some work outside of the prison walls too.
The story is also very different. In previous games, I always saw the same prison each time I went there. Now you have many more choices regarding which prison you visit. For example, you can choose between “brutally” and “gentle.” Which prison you end up in depends on what kind of criminal you are. You will also see a lot more differences regarding their personalities as they continue to live inside.
Overall, this game is definitely worth checking out. Although the controls are a bit difficult at first, they will become easier as you play through the game. The graphics are a bit basic but they’re not anything to worry about. I especially like the different prison jobs that you get to perform. Playing as a tycoon gives you the freedom to go anywhere you want in the game. There are also a lot of things to do in between prison sentences.
